Hi,

For the second approach. We don't need to add them all. Just use simple formular (a1+an)/2 = average.
(5+50)/2=27.5

Yes, that is correct. In general, for a uniformly spaced sequence:

Mean = Median = Average of First and Last Term = Average of 2nd and Second Last Term = etc....

However, if one knows that result then for this question no computation is required because one would immediately recognize that Mean - Median = 0
